After graduating from University of Florida witha Bachelor's Degree and graduating from South Texas College of Law with a Juris Doctorate degree, Mr. Blankner joined the State Attorney’s Office in 1977 until 1984. During his tenure, Mr. Blankner was the Chief of the Felony Division for the Orlando office for six years. After resigning from the State Attorney’s Office, Mr. Blankner joined Mr. Jaeger and created the firm of Jaeger & Blankner in 1985. During his career, Mr. Blankner has handled thousands of criminal cases ranging from traffic offenses to first-degree murder. Throughout his career, Mr. Blankner has handled over 50 first-degree murder trials both as a prosecuting attorney and a defense attorney. Mr. Blankner is a Florida Bar Board-Certified Criminal Trial Specialist.
